The Pro's hot-water function matters if you want water from the machine for a drink. It may matter less if you already use a kettle beside the machine. The integrated lever changes where tamping happens. It does not by itself establish a better result in the cup.

What happens during a drink?

Picture where each task will happen: collecting grounds, tamping, moving the portafilter to the brew position, handling the cup, and disposing of the used coffee. These machines still involve user steps. A grinder, scale, and automatic milk function do not make the whole process hands-free.

For the Premier, decide where you will keep the separate tamper. For the Pro, check that the lever can move through its full range in your intended position. Do not infer hand clearance from the body dimensions. Review the exact model manual with the person who will use the machine.
