The setup that fits

About Espresso Receipt

Espresso Receipt is an independent U.S.-focused decision utility that itemizes equipment fit, setup cost, workflow tradeoffs, and source evidence.

Updated U.S. edition

Why this exists

Espresso recommendations often begin with a machine and end before the grinder, counter, milk workflow, accessories, recurring cost, and compromises appear. Espresso Receipt reverses that sequence. It starts with the person's physical and financial constraints, then prints the whole setup as a receipt.

What the receipt answers

  • Which catalogued machine-and-grinder combinations pass the stated hard constraints?
  • What does the complete modeled setup cost, not just the headline machine?
  • How much counter space does the known equipment envelope require?
  • What workflow benefit drove the match, and what compromise remains?
  • Which facts come from manufacturers, which are modeled, and which remain unresolved?
  • When might the setup break even under the user's own café-spend inputs?

Current scope

The initial catalog covers selected new U.S. 120V espresso machines and grinders. It is not an exhaustive market database, and a missing product is not a negative verdict. Prices are snapshots. Fit is based on available dimensions plus disclosed working assumptions. Performance claims remain specification-derived unless an observed test record says otherwise.
