How links make money

When Espresso Receipt may earn money from a link, where paid links appear, and why they do not control recommendations.
Plain-language summary
We may earn money when you buy through some links. You do not pay more because of the commission. A commission is not guaranteed. It does not change whether a setup fits or where it appears in Find my setup.
Pages with paid links place a visible disclosure before or near the first product recommendation. Links may go directly to a manufacturer or retailer. Price, stock, shipping, tax, warranty, and return terms remain the seller's responsibility.
What a commission cannot do
- It cannot make a setup pass a budget, counter-space, routine, or compatibility limit that it fails.
- It cannot add points to the recommendation score.
- It cannot remove a downside, source conflict, or fact we could not confirm.
- It cannot turn a product detail into a hands-on test claim.
- It cannot buy a favorable article, ranking, score, or correction decision.
The printable receipt explains the result and can be shared. Product links can appear below it, separate from the ranking. Read the methodology for the score inputs.
How we label links
A paid link or a link that may earn us a commission is identified in nearby text. The link is also marked as sponsored. A sponsored link is marked to show that it may earn us a commission. Editorial source links are not affiliate links unless the page says otherwise.
Our standard follows U.S. Federal Trade Commission guidance: disclose unexpected material connections in a way that is clear and conspicuous. In plain words, ordinary people must be able to notice and understand the disclosure. We also follow Google guidance for qualifying paid links.
Current program status
A merchant relationship is active only when the relevant page identifies it or the outbound link is marked as sponsored. A product source link does not show that Espresso Receipt has joined that merchant's program. We update this page when commercial relationships change.
