Corrections

How to report an Espresso Receipt error and how material corrections to prices, specifications, formulas, and recommendations are documented.

Updated U.S. edition

Report an error

Email hello@espressoreceipt.com with the page URL, the exact claim, the proposed correction, and a direct manufacturer, authorized-retailer, regulatory, or other primary source when available. Product generation, SKU, region, and voltage matter.

What happens next

  1. We reproduce the issue and identify every page, result, or calculation that uses the field.
  2. We verify the replacement fact against the strongest available source for the exact U.S. variant.
  3. We update the catalog or editorial record and advance its checked or updated date.
  4. We log a material correction when the error could change fit, rank, cost, safety, or a buying decision.
  5. We leave unresolved conflicts visible when the sources still disagree.

Material versus routine updates

A material correction changes the substance of an answer—for example, the wrong voltage, dimension, price basis, machine architecture, formula, or compatibility field. Routine updates include refreshing an expired sale price, fixing punctuation, or improving wording without changing the conclusion. Routine updates receive a new checked or updated date but do not clutter the material log.
